THEOLOGY

The GETBA believes the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God.  We believe the Bible is totally true.  Many associations cannot openly say this because they have churches that are associated with them that would take offense at that statement, but all our churches agree this is very important.  Our churches adhere to and support the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

FELLOWSHIP

The GETBA is part of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.  We support the conservative trend in the Southern Baptist Convention, as well as our 6 seminaries, Lifeway, the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, and all other agencies of the Southern Baptist Convention.
